Adult Day Health Care/Night Care at Casa

We know the challenges of caring for a loved one at home. The Adult Day Health Care Program provides our participants a safe and stimulating environment, while offering respite to their
 Hours
Our day program is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our night program is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Day and Night Programs
Our state-licensed program is staffed with licensed nurses and health aides and an activity specialist. Day program participants enjoy a variety of individual and group activities, including, exercise, entertainment, monthly theme parties, and field trips. The nursing staff administers medications and provides consultations, and a health aide assists with the personal care. If physical and occupational therapies are needed, those appointments can be woven into the day through an arrangement with the professional staff at La Posada. Night program participants can participate in planned activities or rest as they wish. Staffing includes activities specialist, health aides and nurse.
Fees Adult Day Health Care and Night Care at Casa are fee-for-service programs. However, it is our goal to never deny services due to an inability to pay. Currently we have contracts with Arizona Long-Term Care System and the Veterans Administration to supplement the costs for those who qualify. Casa provides some scholarships to individuals who cannot afford the care, and are not eligible under the above contracts. A drop-in service is available for those who only need one, two or three hours of daytime care. A certain number of openings each day are reserved for this service. Prior enrollment is required.
Caregiver Support Casa maintains an Alzheimer’s Resource Library and holds regular Caregiver Support Group meetings. Please call for more information on these services.
