Volunteer We can match your interests and skills to a variety of volunteer opportunities. At Casa, you’ll meet new people and strengthen your connections to the community as you provide needed assistance to our variety of programs.
Get started ... Our volunteer positions begin with your application and interview with our Volunteer Coordinator. We offer an orientation program and flexible scheduling. Please contact Barbara Salazar at 520-648-7999 to get started! Los Niños del Valle Volunteers Singing, reading, playing and learning – that’s part of every day at our state-licensed, accredited preschool and child care center. Our volunteers enjoy assisting teachers and supporting the many activities that give children their start in life. These rewarding positions are during daytime hours on weekdays. Adult Day Health Care Volunteers Adult Day Health Care is the answer for many families whose loved ones have physical challenges, memory loss or other health issues that make 24/7 care at home difficult. We care for these individuals while giving respite to their caregivers. People who enjoy engaging with older adults are encouraged to check out these volunteer opportunities: activity support, serving meals and assisting with transportation.
Casa Community Center Volunteers Being social, having a nutritious lunch and participating in recreational and educational events is what the Casa Community Center offers older adults in the greater Green Valley area. Five days a week, this is the place where people meet their friends, make new acquaintances and enjoy lunch. Some of our volunteers deliver meals to homebound area residents. If you want to be part of what makes all this possible, consider volunteering at the Casa Community Center. Intergenerational programs
Office and Campus Volunteers Do you enjoy being “behind the scenes” in a busy office environment? Do you have “handyperson” skills? We would like to help you match your skills and preferences to a rewarding volunteer position.
Victory Volunteers Our successful Victory Volunteers program draws individuals who appreciate that they can help their community in ways that meet their available time, energy and abilities. The Victory Volunteers gather once a week for two hours in a comfortable, social setting to work on short-term projects for nonprofit organizations and schools in the Green Valley/Sahuarita area. We call it a “minimum commitment, maximum volunteer experience.” |
